Even though the place doesn't sell any alcohol, not even beer, the food is worth trying, and it's definitely value for money...as an entrée they give you black beans to be eaten with local cheese and sour cream, and you can accompany them with toasted tortilla chips. It's yummy!!

Beers cold! Fans keep it cool. Owner is extremely helpful, good English and a great character.

Very traditional chiapanecan place with live marimba. Pretty affordable and really good.

Everything we tried was delicious. My sister who’s really picky loved the food. Small portions of the food but everything I mean everything was

They serve you black beans in a little plate with the traditional cheese and it tastes so delicious, they have a few traditional dishes but we went for the carne asada, can't wait to go back food is delicious, the ambience and service was great, really good price, def I recommend this place.

If you're a traveler like us, this might not be the first place you visit, but maybe you should. This had a true Mexican vibe. All the other guests were locals, which is always a good sign. The concept is pretty basic (cutlery in a box on the table, simple paper plates) but the food was really good. Especially for the price. This place is really check. You really get your money's worth. You can also take out here or even get delivered. One little down side was the 2 guys playing on the instrument. This is so very loud. Couldn't really talk over it.
